The mullahs' regime, which usually did not hand over the bodies of the dead or bury them secretly and under a security atmosphere, this time displayed the bodies of the dead in groups in black bags to instill fear. Various videos have been released showing families identifying their loved ones among the dozens of killed protesters.

The mullahs’ regime, relying on this apparent support and propaganda from the Israeli government, labels the legitimate movements of the Iranian people and severely suppresses Iranian protesters as “rioters” or “spies.”
Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, like other officials of the mullahs’ regime, labeled the Iranian protesters as “rioters” and “spies.”
During the Iranian student protests of July 1999, Ghalibaf, along with other IRGC commanders such as Qasem Soleimani, warned Mohammad Khatami in a confidential letter that if the protests were not controlled, they would take action on their own. The point is that despite the threats from the mullahs’ regime, millions of people participated in the anti-regime demonstrations on January 8 and 9 and chanted slogans against the regime. If the mullahs’ regime were an independent and popular government that cared about the will of the Iranian people, it would have stepped down peacefully.
The terrorist label and other labels are used to create fear and panic among the protesters and to justify the suppression of the Iranian people’s movement. We see that some people, without explaining the nature of the mullahs’ regime, confirm that the Israeli government is somehow involved in the demonstrations of the Iranian people and help suppress the Iranian people by feeding the mullahs’ regime’s propaganda.
Tamir Morag, a commentator on Israel's Channel 14, spoke implicitly about arming protesters in Iran without publishing evidence, and wrote in a post on X: "foreign actors are arming the protesters in Iran with live firearms, which is the reason for the hundreds of regime personnel killed. Everyone is free to guess who is behind it." Many accounts placed Tamir Morag's post and similar news under videos and photos of the magnificent demonstrations of the Iranian people, discrediting these demonstrations. Israel's Channel 14 is a right-wing channel close to Netanyahu, and it is clear that this post was published at Netanyahu's request. You see, Tamir Morag's post was also published by Mossad and Abbas Araghchi.
Or Mike Pompeo, an American politician close to the Israeli government, spoke about the presence of Mossad forces alongside the protesters without mentioning the true nature of the mullahs' regime.
These statements are completely in line with the policies of the Israeli government and discredit the national movement of the Iranian people in the international community. The mullahs' regime, relying on the apparent support of the Israeli government and these statements, justifies the killing and suppression of the protesters.
On social media, images of mosques being set on fire have been published, and some accounts, including those of the mullahs' regime and pro-Palestinian political activists, have spoken about it. One of the characteristics of the Israeli government is the destruction of religious places, especially mosques, and the promotion of Islamophobia.
The Israeli government’s support for opponents of the regime and acts of sabotage, such as setting fire to mosques, affect both the religious community in Iran and the regime’s supporters outside Iran. By labeling the Iranian people’s movement in this way, the mullahs' regime justifies its destruction and severe suppression of the regime’s opponents in domestic and foreign public opinion. While the mullahs' regime itself, with its behavior and the crimes it commits, is one of the biggest producers of Islamophobia in Iran and outside Iran.
Let us ask ourselves what benefit the apparent support of the Israeli government has had for the Iranian people?
Today, the mullahs’ regime has unofficially fallen, and only a war or division and destruction of the opposition can help it survive.
The mullahs’ regime is not alone. We must understand that the Israeli government’s propaganda and its apparent support for the regime’s opponents work to suppress the regime’s opponents, destroy the opposition, and preserve the mullahs’ regime.
